On behalf of the organizing committee thank you to everyone for participating in our 2012 inaugural event! We had around 1,000 attendees, and about 100 volunteers and Makers. Thanks to our sponsors for having faith that we could actually accomplish such an strong event.

Maker Faire is an event created by Make magazine to celebrate arts, crafts, engineering, science projects and the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) mindset.
Why Calgary? Our city filled with creative individuals, ranging from artists to engineers and everyone in between. Many of us spend time creating both tangible and intangible innovations that deserve to see the light of day, which is why we are bringing Maker Faire to Calgary so that everyone has a chance to behold our collective creativity!
